About Karen Terry
I’ve been coaching clients since 2008. I was trained in a trans-disciplinary approach to coaching that weaves together elements of Adlerian psychology, developmental psychology, learning theory, neuroscience, existential thought, and more. It means I bring a lot of perspectives to our conversation.
In addition, I’m acquainted with systems thinking and design thinking, which are great tools for taking on complex (or “wicked”) problems—like what you want to do next. I’m also trained in interpreting the Hogan assessment, which many organizations use to assess leadership potential and organizational fit.
More and more, I’m also coming to appreciate the power of vision to pull us forward. We can advance surely and steadily toward the lives we want if we can just dream them. Some of the work I do with clients is on creating vision, and I can show you ways to do that.
